The works exhibited in the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, were always characterized by wealth, imagination, creativity and abundance of ideas.
In 2023, THOC’s team was awarded with the Grand award of this exhibit, the Golden Triga, exceeding all expectations, a wonderful recognition of the many levels of examining the matter of Famagusta, through scenographic terms, on the basis of reverse scenography, and in regard to how we can envision a future for such places of trauma, many of which unfortunately exist in our world. Through the questions posed by “Spectators in a Ghost City”, visitors revisited questions about one’s own places of trauma, from all over the world, national histories, personal responsibility, the need for respect and care for our environments, whether they are mental, physical, natural or man-made.
