DESCRIPTION

Public Imbroglio is a part of the artist’s ongoing research based on Social media as a form of public pedagogy that began during her studies. The installation aims to create never-ending dialogues and is based on information collected from the artist’s personal social media accounts. Material is edited and repositioned to create a sculptural installation in an effort to bring the “online” world into an “offline” space.

A million posts and shares. Different personas. Images edited and manipulated, uploaded and downloaded. Information reconstituted and altered. Consumed and perceived. All as a continuous, chaotic streaming trapped in the unconscious mind.
