“Tides” is a data-driven light installation designed to probe the complexities of time. The piece is a digital sundial to interpret the unique interplay of light and shadow within its singular space. “Tides” adapts dynamically to a range of variables for time recording: it reflects the specific timezone, elevation, and weather patterns of its location, making each experience distinct and unrepeatable.
The project was developed as part of the Artist-in-Residence Program at Thinker Maker Space of CYENS.
