DESCRIPTION

Grumpy, in a hurry or romantic, Parisians are funny birds. Errratum and Maison Tangible invite artists from different backgrounds to sketch with humor the clichés around Parisians. Under the prism of augmented reality, each visual comes to life and imagine multiple ways of seeing the city dwellers.

The two illustrations presented (Pique- nique Bobo by Amaël Isnard and Aquaboulevard by Yoann Hervo) are taken from the group exhibition Piafs! created by MaisonTangible (publishing house) in collaboration with Errratum (contemporary illustration journal), based on an original idea by Amaël Isnard, Emmanuelle Leleu and Benjamin Flouw.

Maison Tangible:
Think of us as a publishing house for images and handcrafted objects. An online gallery, an online shop, an art gallery and a wide distribution network through different channels such as bookstores, gift shops and tourist information points. Promoting culture through exhibitions, meetings and public workshops with the artists. At Maison Tangible, we aspire to craft objects that are not only beautiful but also meaningful.

Association Electroni[k]:
Since 2001, Electroni[k] developed a project dedicated to today’s artistic creation in the fields of sound, image and new media, with a particular focus on multidisciplinary and innovative creations. The association produces every year in October the Maintenant festival, thought as a snapshot of contemporary artistic practices, and creates with its partners multiple devices of cultural action all year round for many audiences around the keywords arts, music & technologies.
