Janis Plasmatik is a founding member of Alternadiva and previously worked as A&R of Klubd Nicosia, holding gigs all over the island and Europe, including six d.o.g.s. (Athens), Club der Visionaere (Berlin) and Veniceberg (Venice), to name a few. Known to steer into the deeper and frequently more cerebral side of house and techno, one gets the feeling that the whole is greater than the sum of each individual track he plays during Plasmatik’s sets. The morning slot is his mistress, the last ones standing are his favourite audience – preference: long, drawn-out mixes where the opportunity to shape the sound lies.
